- Main, admin and standard users can turn off their location sharing with other users as a privacy setting
- Location sharing setting is specific to each group and therefore the user will need to set location sharing preferences for each group separately
- Once location sharing is turned off, the user’s live location will not be visible to other users in the group
- To set location sharing preferences:
- Open the application and click on the “Groups” icon.
- Select the group for which location and time-frames (routines) are to be configured.
- Navigate to the group you will set the location sharing preference for
- Select the menu option on the top right corner (i.e. the three dots)
- Select Preferences
- Toggle off the location sharing setting (If the user wishes to reenable location sharing, the user can toggle on the location sharing setting)
- Despite location sharing settings being set off, group members will continue to receive risk related alerts about each other
