What are Escalations and De-escalations?

Modified on Wed, 20 Aug at 11:18 AM

  • When an alert is raised for another user, an option is provided to main users, admin users and emergency contacts to escalate or de-escalate the alert, and similarly this option is also provided to adult users (Main, Admin and Standard users) for themselves. Once an alert reaches level 2 status it can be escalated to group users (on Standard plan) or including to emergency services providers (on a Premium plan). Escalating an alert implies that the situation requires additional attention from other users and emergency services providers.
  • De-escalating an alert implies that the situation does not require further attention from the group and emergency services providers – dependant on the plan subscribed to. Adult users (Main, Admin, Standard users and Emergency contacts) can de-escalate an alert for others and themselves.
