- The user presses the Emergency/SOS button and selects the type of support required.
- The GPS coordinates of the user in need are sent directly to the response centre.
- A Sayf operator will call the person in need of emergency response immediately.
- Sayf will find and dispatch the closest emergency responder to their location.
- The Sayf operator will stay in contact with the user until the responder arrives at the location of the user requiring assistance.
- Once the emergency responder has arrived at a scene and attended to the emergency, the SOS status will then automatically de-escalated and emergency contacts will be notified of the de-escalation
- Note that users with a Dependent role cannot request emergency services directly. Pressing the Emergency/SOS button will send an alert to the user’s designated emergency contacts, who can then request SOS services to be dispatched to the user’s location. If the request remains un-attended, the alert is automatically escalated to Sayf’s emergency responders and a Sayf operator will call the Dependant user immediately.
- Emergency response services are only available to users who are members of groups subscribed to Premium plans
